Internship, Customer Operations Team

The Customer Operations team at Fuse is responsible for the end-to-end success of customers running Apps-as-a-Service. We build relationships with our customers to understand their domain and needs, and work proactively to make sure they have a streamlined experience with our product. Our goal is to deliver great mobile apps that keep all stakeholders happy, while responding quickly to changing demands.

The team is responsible for a wide range of tasks, from assisting in sales activities and advising customers on mobile strategy, to project managing the entire app delivery process: requirements capture, quality assurance and managing test-, change- and release procedures. As we learn from working with live customers, we advise our product and engineering teams on how our platform can be improved.

Fuse is growing fast, and the Customer Operations team is looking for new key people. For this role we seek students or graduates in the intersection of technology and management looking for hands-on experience with live customers and cutting edge technology.

The job is varied and requires you to be agile and learn fast. We are looking for a particular attitude and eagerness to learn on a continuous basis. This is not a programming job, but you will be working closely with software engineers both on our side and the customer’s side, so a solid understanding of technology is a must. At the same time, key customer stakeholders is often in upper management, so being able to articulate and drive customer value through technology while first and foremost dealing with non-technical stakeholders is key.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Assist commercial team in pre-sales activities, including customer meetings
  • Translating customer needs into specifications for engineering
  • Tracking customer requirements, change requests, dependencies and deliverables
  • Testing and quality assurance of deliverables
  • Producing documentation and collateral
  • Provide input to the product team on improvements


Qualifications

  • Structured, reliable, efficient and proactive
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Service oriented mindset
  • Solid all-round understanding of technology, software and UI/UX
  • Bachelor’s degree or more in technology, management and/or business
  • Programming skills is a plus, but not required


Duration: 6 months, extensible to permanent position

Start: From Jan 3rd 2019

Location: Oslo, Norway
